The first option is that Client provide us product sample, we are able to do sample 3D scan for the original sample, meanwhile we help client improve product design as per client idea and opinion.
The second option is that client provide us detail 3D product drawing, we will check the details, analysis the part design and its plastic raw material. For some complicated parts, we may need to make the DFM report to show the client the detail problems on the part designs.
Once the parts 3D designs are confirmed, we begin the mould 3D design. We account for plastic raw material shrinkage rates, injection machine specifications, and standard parts requirements.
Our designers possess 10+ years of experience, qualifying them to figure out complete and excellent mold designs featuring detailed ejector systems, cooling systems, and runner systems.
Mould main structures are conceptualized early, with small details like limit switches and shot counters discussed and refined with the client during the process.
Steel plates are sourced and cut based on confirmed designs. We inspect the steel hardness upon delivery to ensure it matches the specified quality level. For commodity moulds, we utilize CNC milling, while larger moulds are handled by specialized tooling centers for efficiency.
Precise tooling follows rough machining, including:
For high-precision requirements, we employ high-speed CNC engraving. When handling small or narrow features like ribs that cannot be reached by milling, we use EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) with carbon or copper electrodes. Copper electrodes are preferred for very small sizes due to their durability and precision.
We also utilize EDW (Electrical Discharge Wire) tooling for straight-direction small sizes, offering both high and slow-speed options depending on the precision required.
Cooling lines and ejector pin holes are processed via deep hole drilling to ensure perfect alignment. After precise tooling, moulds are manually polished—especially for home appliance parts requiring high-gloss finishes.
We perform mould testing using Haitian injection machines ranging from 160Ton to 1000Ton. Clients receive trial videos and specific injection parameters for approval.
Our professional plastic injection mould manufacturing expertise has been established since 2009. We specialize in design and production for household products, furniture (plastic chairs/tables), pet products, motorcycle parts, packaging, home appliances, industrial components, agriculture, and the LED industry.
